Missionary introduction
Pastor Otto Schaufele
Otto and Pat Schaufele came to Minami Nagareyama in the fall of 1999. They had been pastors of the River City Church in Lewiston, Idaho, USA, for 14 years. They have traveled and done Christian missionary work in many nations before coming to Japan with River City Christian Missions. They have a son in Mountain Home, Idaho, who is a school teacher, and a daughter in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who is a domestic engineer. They have 3 grandchildren. Pat teaches private English classes, and they help teach sixth grade English at the Minami Nagareyama Elementary School. Otto works as a wedding pastor with Total Bridal Network Int., too. Otto plays the guitar.
